Spotlight: 220,000gns breeze-up 2yo who has raced at 5f so far, showing plenty of promise when second on Dante meeting debut here before beaten about only 3l when seventh (Old Is Gold eighth, Shaman Champion ninth) of 23 in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot; comfortably landed short odds in a four-runner maiden at Hamilton since and interesting now stepped up to 6f for nursery debut in a race his yard has won three times since 2015, including last year.
Spotlight: Led his group long way when finishing just behind Utmost Respect and Old Is Gold in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot; ridden with more restraint in his two outings since, showing improved form when second (Old Is Gold third, Blue Orbit sixth) of 11 in 6f nursery at Glorious Goodwood; raised 3lb since but he was arguably a bit better than the result having raced wide of and further back than the other principals; another bold show is likely.
Spotlight: Two from two since handicapping, namely 0-60s over 6f at Ffos Las (good) and Doncaster (good to firm) inside five days; another 10lb higher now bidding for the hat-trick in this significantly higher grade but he did it very easily last time and there's likely better to come; top of the list.
Spotlight: Split reopposing pair Utmost Respect and Shaman Champion when eighth of 23 in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot; good third of 11 in 6f nursery debut at Glorious Goodwood but Shaman Champion was just ahead in second on that occasion; meets that rival on 2lb better terms this time and there shouldn't be much between them.
Spotlight: Comfortable winner on Beverley debut (5f, soft) and bettered that form when 4l third of 11 in valuable 5f fillies' conditions race at Glorious Goodwood (5f, good); 6f should suit and her opening mark looks workable, particularly if Shay Farmer's claim is factored in.
Spotlight: Gelded after finishing fifth on his first two starts and showed improved form when third of 15 in 6f Glorious Goodwood maiden (good) 22 days ago; would have gone even closer if he hadn't been forced to switch at a crucial stage and he could progress again now handicapping under Oisin Murphy.
Spotlight: Made a winning start to his career in a C&D novice (good to firm) at the Dante meeting in May and runner-up in the Listed National Stakes at Sandown (5f, good) a fortnight later; hasn't built on that when kept to 5f for a Royal Ascot Group 2 and Deauville Listed race but he does leave the impression the return to 6f will suit now dropping into a nursery.
Spotlight: All three races at 6f on good to firm, building on debut second in a warm race at Yarmouth with a 6l win at Windsor in June; no apparent excuses from the front when 6l third of five in Listed race at Newbury 33 days ago but the fact he's subsequently been entered for Group races next month suggests connections still view him as a smart prospect; nursery debut.
Spotlight: Raced at around 5f, scoring on debut at Wetherby (good to firm); came up short at Listed level on next two starts before making a successful start to his nursery career in a small-field race at Hamilton (good) last month; found out when stepped back up in class for the Molecomb at Glorious Goodwood since but this is more realistic now tackling 6f for the first time.
Spotlight: 5f Goodwood maiden winner on good to firm who shaped better than the result (denied a clear run at a crucial stage) when behind reopposing pair Shaman Champion and Old Is Gold on his 6f nursery debut at the Glorious meeting there (good to soft) 19 days ago; no surprise were he to go well.
Spotlight: Didn't need to improve when off the mark at fourth time of asking in 5f Pontefract maiden (good) last month but he did it comfortably, so there was probably more there if needed; should be competitive from this opening mark.
Spotlight: Different proposition since gelded, winning a Goodwood seller (5f, soft) and Ripon nursery (6f, good) in recent months; also has form on firm ground; up 4lb since Ripon but Warren Fentiman claims 5lb.
Spotlight: Built on C&D nursery-debut third when getting on top towards the finish in a five-runner similar race at Carlisle (6f, good) last week; another improved performance will be required under a 6lb penalty in this much stronger affair.
Spotlight: Promise when placed over 5f/6f on first two outings before narrowly justifying favouritism in 5f Beverley maiden (good to firm) at the beginning of July; while an opening mark of 81 isn't obviously generous, his yard has had a few run well in this in the last ten years, including a win in 2020.
Spotlight: Winner of 6f Hamilton maiden (good to soft) eight days ago; shouldered with a 6lb penalty for that on this nursery debut but he's going the right way for a local stable which has had one place in this in recent years.
Spotlight: Fourth in the Listed Marygate over 5f here (good to firm) at the Dante meeting; well held in similar company on softer ground at Chantilly next time but back on form returned to good to firm when 1l second of seven in 6f Haydock nursery ten days ago; same mark here but this looks a much stronger race.
Spotlight: Has posted progressive RPRs, going close in a 5f Musselburgh maiden (good) 12 days ago; should be at least as effective back at 6f now moving into nursery company.
Spotlight: Placed in maidens/novice on first three starts but not in the same form when fourth of five on 6f Newmarket nursery debut (good to soft) 18 days ago; needs to bounce back.
Spotlight: Reached the frame on the first two of his qualifying runs over 5f; steps up to 6f for the first time now handicapping from a mark which doesn't allow much obvious room for manoeuvre.
Spotlight: Second on 5f Thirsk debut (good) in May but below that level in his two subsequent outings; 11-week break ahead of this nursery debut with a hood added.
Spotlight: Thirsk debut third to subsequent Group 2 second Royal Fixation (favourite for Thursday's Lowther here) and a next-time-out winner reads well but she's yet to build on it, including in a Newmarket nursery on Saturday.
Spotlight: Narrow win on 5f Pontefract debut (good) and stepped up a little on that form when 5l seventh of nine in the Listed Marygate over 5f here (good to firm) at the Dante meeting in May; off since.

The Glorious Goodwood nursery second and third Shaman Champion (second choice) and Old Is Gold are likely to go well. Richard Fahey's good record in this race affords Utmost Respect just that, while Group entries next month suggest George Boughey still has plenty of faith in Amorim, but the vote goes to DUBLIN BAY. Ollie Sangster's charge drew just under 4l clear without Danny Tudhope getting that animated when making it a quick 2-2 in nurseries at Doncaster 18 days ago and the well-held third, fourth and fifth have all been very competitive in nurseries since, suggesting even a 10lb rise could prove lenient.
